2008 was a season to remember on the Bulkley River.

Early September proved to be a combination of incredible weather and exceptional fishing.  The fish were coming through in waves.  We worked hard  to find them but when we did,  we would find 3-8 fish in a run.  We caught 8 fish in one run over labour day weekend.  T-shirts were a must. Although it didn’t seem fair,  we were catching steelhead on dry flies while getting sunburned.  The water temperature stayed at about 64 degrees for 2 weeks.   Our river camps were invaluable at this point in the season.  Our guests were fishing until 9:30pm at the camps.   They were consistently moving large volumes of fish at our camp water just before dark each overnight stay.  It proved to guides and guests alike, that our river camp pools

Are among the best pieces of water on the entire river.

Even though the Bulkley is one of the worlds top 10 steelhead rivers, it is not just the fish that keep people coming back every year. The scenery, and the wildlife are unbelievable. It is an amazing adventure, relaxing, and exciting all at the same time. Our availability is dwindling as we only run a short 8 week season.  We do have some slots available so if you are interested just let us know which week suits you best.

We have a wide variety of fishing programs for you to explore throughout the entire year.  Our professional team of experts will work hard to make your experience with us a trip of a lifetime.  The only thing we like better than talking about fishing,  is actually fishing.  See you on the water.
