Often times fishing guides speak of a great passion they have for the sport. They live, eat, and breath fishing.  Derek Botchford exemplifies this attitude. His love of fly fishing is contagious. Derek’s instructing philosophy is based on the most respected and freshest training concepts today in flyfishing. He embraces new techniques, and always strives to learn more about the sport that he loves.  After managing a lodge in Bristol Bay Alaska for 10 years, and innovating new fishing programs in Patagonia, Chile, Derek has a lot of experience to draw from.   After his last endevour of managing a lodge in Tierra Del Fuego for Sea Run Brown Trout, he decided to purchase a lodge in his home province of British Columbia. Now he is where he always wanted to be, in the heart of wild Steelhead country. Let him host you in one of the most beautiful places in the world.
